KansasNet Webhosting

In order to have your site hosted on our commercial LINUX or NT/2003 web server, you will need either a domain name, or a subdomain of kansas.net. Domain name registration (i.e. www.domainname.com) is $35.00/year. The web hosting setup fee is $65, but we will waive this fee if you let us register your domain for 2 years. To register a domain-name, please visit our Domain Registration Website.  If you already have a domain name, then you may change the domain registration records in reflect our domain name servers NS1.KANSAS.NET & NS2.KANSAS.NET , and we can setup web hosting for your domain on one of our commercial servers for $65. Subdomains of our our kansas.net domain and hosting on one of our commercial web servers is usually $240/year. Let us know what you want by emailing us at domain-sales@kansas.net, and we will set it up for you. (i.e. yourname.kansas.net) Email inboxes/addresses are not included with this option.

We also can provide you with a more basic virtual name-hosting service on our LINUX server (no ASP or Frontpage extensions/publishing) for $120/year. Service includes unmetered data transfer (in/out) and 5MB of storage space. You do not get your own static IP address with this service. Additional storage space is $5/month per each additional 5MB. The domain transferral/setup fee will not be waived if you choose this option ($65/hour). Email inboxes are not provided if you choose the basic service.

We will offer brief tech support to help you get started publishing your web for no additional charge. Additional support will be billed at $65/hour (1 hour minimum). There is no fee to revise your web unless you require our technical expertise to do so.
